As a Video and Podcast Editor at Hirely, you will play a key role in bringing stories and messages to life through engaging video and audio content. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and creativity. Your work will involve editing video and podcast content for a range of platforms, enhancing the audio-visual elements, and ensuring consistency with the client’s brand and message.

• Edit video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, interviews, and webinars, ensuring a professional finish.

• Edit podcasts by removing unwanted audio, balancing sound levels, and integrating music or sound effects where necessary.

• Work closely with clients and project managers to understand creative direction and project goals.

• Enhance video and audio quality through color grading, sound design, and noise reduction.

• Add motion graphics, transitions, and other effects as needed to elevate the content.

• Ensure timely delivery of all projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve your craft.

• Manage and organize project files, ensuring an efficient workflow.

• Have a functional Computer, stable network and a dedicated workstation, and must have ability to communicate and work optimally without supervision.

• Proven experience in video and podcast editing, with a portfolio of work to showcase.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition, Logic Pro, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of audio mixing, sound design, and color grading.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in video and podcast content, especially for online platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and social media.
